Perth, the City of Lights from the hills taken by Perth photographer Noel Davidson. Although this was taken earlier in the year, we thought it was a perfect way to end 2015 basking in the glorious sunset of the golden west.

This image was taken up from Zig Zag Hill during Australia Day earlier this year. I figured I would go up the hills to get a good vantage point from the distance and get a wider perspective of the city during the firework display.

The sunset was spectacular as the sky lit up with a golden glow which really made it a special moment to capture. It was the perfect setting for the lead up to the fireworks.

Equipment & Settings used:
Canon EOS 5D Mark III paired with the Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS II lens
Shutter Speed : 4 secs
Aperture : f/9
ISO : 100
Focal Length : 200 mm
Edited in Lightroom (curves, white balance, highlights, black/whites) and Photoshop (watermark and web sharpening)
